On Wednesday the 15th of July 1953 the Panshanger Estate was put up for Auction. This included the Attimore and it's land. There now follows details of the documents

Description of Attimore up for sale by auction 15th July 1953.

 

293 Acres, 2 Rods, 10 Perches.

The capital dairy holding situated at the western end of the estate.

The greater part being let to J. S. Crawford for £376 6s 0d per annum. Rent last adjusted 29th September 1950

 

The Farmhouse.

The house of brick and slate has been improved in recent years.

The accommodation includes:

 

            On the ground floor:

            Hall, Cloakroom, Drawing room with brick fireplace and wall lights.

            Sitting room with fine open-hearth fireplace.

            Dining room with brick open-hearth fireplace.

            Kitchen with wood block floor.

            Ideal boiler and fitted cupboard.

            Serving hatch to dining room, etc.

            Larder, with cloakroom with WC suite and lavatory basins.
