MEET THE TEAM

With every newsletter, we will introduce a member of the Attimore Team to our readers and tell you a bit about them.

As we’ve introduced a bit about the Landlord, we thought it fitting to introduce you to the Landlady.  Dianna – or Di, as she’s used to going by, emigrated from America in 1994.  She left Xerox Corporate Finance in Rochester, NY and moved to England.  WHY You ask?  She fell in love with an Englishman, of course!  She has a daughter called Madison.  Can you guess which film and character she chose her daughter’s name from?  She loves computer games – a big WOW fan and fancies card games. 

“Keith and I used to play doubles in the cribbage club at Shire Park.” 

If anyone fancies a match , give her a shout.  She likes poker and is looking forward to the Attimore Poker team starting up. 

“We’ve been here for about 6 months now.  We're learning our guests names and their favourite drink.  I love the Attimore, it’s a cracking pub, a great team to work with and really nice locals.  It’s starting to feel like home now.”

Mother’s Day 18th March

                    What's coming up?

Plans are in the works for a Poker Team at the Atty.  Please see Steve for details.  Steve will be setting up practice sessions for those who want to learn or refresh your skills.

Who fancies a night at the Races? 

Unfortunately our charity race night was cancelled by the Charity as we did not collect enough pre sales.  This has not put us off, however!  We are looking to put a Race Night on in 2012.  Please help support us with your interest and get your bids in early.

One of the newest pubs in Welwyn Garden City, the Attimore, celebrated

its 20th Anniversary on Saturday 16th August 2008 in the 80's style.

A converted farm house with a 300 year history.

The Bar staff dressed up in 80's gear, a free buffet and a free drink for the regulars.
